GRL Guitars is not what you have become accustomed to, this is an American "Mom, Pop and Family" store and contrary to the belief of our X "leader", we did build it. Our signature products are special tools and fixtures along with special parts developed for building high quality electric guitars. We will offer some of the standard, off the shelf parts as long as we can furnish them at a competitive price. Special needs and suggestions are welcome and if we can accommodate we will, in fact we welcome that relationship with our customers.
GRL Guitars is the result of many years of trial, error, testing and intense research all compiled into this web space in an effort to assist both the novice and professional with their guitar building and woodworking endeavors. The knowledge shared here comes from many years of experience and hours of research and the parts offered come from the same. All tools being sold by GRL Guitars are used in our shop daily, some are designed and built in house while others are off-the-shelf but modified for an intended purpose.
Because many parts are not available from an American source all items offered by GRL will clearly state the country of origin. In any case, we will always strive to offer as many American Made items as possible. All tools and parts have been thoroughly tested for quality and functionality and will be shipped from the USA for faster domestic delivery regardless of the country of origin.
For those thinking of or building a guitar the knowledge section will share some of the pitfalls as well as successes that have been encountered over the years along with facts and figures pertaining to guitar design and construction.
